Hand made in the south of France for over 100 years, the L'Héritage Professional Mandoline uses a unique lever system to change the blade's thickness and style. There are no removeable parts to lose, and hundreds of different settings to give you the cut and style that you need.
Blades are easy to remove for sharpening purposes, but do not need to be removed during everyday use.
Shreds cabbage and carrots for easy and delicious coleslaw.
Makes perfect French fries in nearly any style, from thick cut to shoestring to waffle fries. Can be used on potatoes, sweet potatoes, or yams. Most of these vegetables will fit width-wise or length-wise. Also cuts onions for onion rings into sizes up to 1/4" (0.635cm) think.
Softer fruits like oranges, mangoes, and tomatoes can also be sliced. We recommend chilling these vegetables in a crisper before slicing.
Makes stunningly thin beef carpaccio fish sashimi. We recommend freezing meats before slicing so they're easier to push along the mandoline's surface. With practice, paper thin slices are possible.
Can also be used to grate or slice hard cheeses.
Not recommended for sauerkraut.
